“To have the capacity to journey with people from birth to death is pretty major. It’s all dimensions of life.”

Where there’s life, there’s Mercy.
Where there’s care, there’s You.

The challenge.

Providing home care, aged care and healthcare services to those in need, Mercy Health’s legacy of service spans over a century. Despite this, there was limited awareness of the full breadth of career opportunities on offer, particularly for those who weren’t familiar with the organisation’s services.

To attract a diverse talent pool and nurture engagement internally, Mercy Health engaged Employer Branding Australia to develop an EVP that spoke to the variety of roles, locations and demographics available - and to the purposeful career you can build that touches all ages and stages of life.

The solution.

In partnership with Mercy Health and their people, we articulated their unique Employee Value Proposition (EVP): ”Where there’s life, there’s Mercy. Where there’s care, there’s You.”

To embed the EVP into their talent shopfront, we designed a strategic suite of content to best suit Mercy Health’s recruitment needs, as well as a comprehensive review of their current messaging and recommendations for incorporating EVP-led language.

The result.

The EVP was received positively - both internally and externally - as authentically reflecting the realities faced by a diverse workforce while providing a compass for Mercy Health’s future direction.

The content was embedded across the candidate journey and shared internally to build an engaged talent pool and workforce.

We’ve continued to partner with Mercy Health in the years since their initial EVP service, and we’ve most recently produced another suite of EVP videos to target hard-to-fill roles, generating awareness for careers in hospitality, IT, administration and care.

“It's very unique for many of us to work on a brand new EVP, but to have the most exciting outputs and positive feedback from the business is all thanks to the Employer Branding Australia team.
